Is it a sign

when you go to a Honda dealership to look at the possibility of getting a new car, and then when you get back into your old Honda to go home, your old Honda decides not to come home with you and therefore refuses to let you shift it out of "Park?"

So then you have to fill out a form for the service guys to call you in the morning and tell you what is wrong with your old Honda (besides it having some sort of attitude about you looking at new cars right in front of it) and how they can fix it for $1,000.

And THEN, since it is so late and the dealership is closing, and their courtesy shuttle isn't running, your salesman who happens to live in the town next to yours has to take you home (in his Cadillac, no less--I thought they had to drive Hondas to work--who knew?).

Is this a sign?

And if it is, is it a sign that our old Honda likes it where he is in Honda Heaven and wants us to move on and buy a new Honda or a sign that we shouldn't buy a Honda at all, since they cop an attitude after 10 years of nothing more than love (and perhaps a few loud, growing, messy children getting in and out of it)?
